How do I get started?
We welcome musicians of all levels. To begin, visit our 'Join Us' page to review our membership details and rehearsal schedule. Please contact us first if you are interested in learning more. We recommend attending our first rehearsal to meet the ensemble and ask any questions. The repertoire is typically at AMEB Grade 4 and above. There is no audition required.
What is the rehearsal schedule?
Our rehearsals are held weekly every Wednesday at 7:00 pm and fortnightly Sunday at 10:00 am. Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes early to set up your instrument and participate in the warm-up.
What repertoire do we play?
We perform a diverse selection of works, from classical masterpieces to contemporary arrangements. Our repertoire is chosen to challenge musicians while remaining accessible and enjoyable for all members.
Are there any membership fees?
Yes, there is a modest membership fee to cover rehearsal space and materials. This allows us to pay for the venue and conductor.
